EWA Deal Room grant pool 2026

A direct funding opportunity for standout creative businesses taking part in Entertainment Week Africa's 2026 Deal Room. Announced on 7 October 2026, the grant pool is aimed at creative companies that have an idea or early-stage business but not yet the capital, partnerships or commercial footing to grow. Applications are made through the EWA site; no closing date has been published. Shortlisted businesses are assessed by a jury that includes each company's lead mentor, and grants are awarded during EWA 2026 in Lagos, 17-22 November 2026. The size of the pool has not been disclosed. The 2025 Deal Room drew more than 178 applications, advanced nine businesses to its accelerator stage and generated about 25 million naira in funding alongside investor interest.
