Founders Fund Africa is a US$1,000,000 initiative that backs early-stage, scalable African creative ventures with convertible-note investments of US$20,000 to US$50,000, alongside mentorship and industry networks. It is aimed at creative-economy founders working across music, film, media, design, gaming and creative technology, with problem-solution fit, traction and a committed team. This is investment, not a grant. The 2026 external application round closed in August 2026 and the next round is not yet confirmed — check the official site for a live application form, and confirm any country restrictions, before applying.
